Courier Service: Convenient and Simple!

When you make a purchase, we offer the option to have it delivered to your doorstep via Whoppah. Our partners are experienced transporters and known for their helpfulness. Follow these steps to utilize the Courier Service:

1. During checkout, you can indicate that you'd like to use the courier service.
2. Complete the payment, and we'll take it from there.

Here's what happens behind the scenes:

• First, the seller receives a notification that the  Courier Service is being utilized. The seller can then schedule a suitable pickup time.
• Once this is done, you, as the buyer, will receive an email regarding the delivery schedule.

We ensure that the item is collected from the seller. 

Can I book a courier after my item has already been paid for?

It may happen that you do not manage to collect the item yourself, even though the option for transport via our experienced courier partners was shown for your item at the time of purchase.

You can then book this option after you have already paid for the item. Please contact Whoppah for this, so we can go through the steps with you.

Outside the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany:

Whoppah is currently only active in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. If you reside outside of these regions, we are more than happy to assist you, and we can refer you to a logistics partner or help you discuss a suitable solution with the seller. We aim to accommodate all your needs.

Whoppah offers the option of transport via Brenger for the Netherlands & Belgium.

Brenger is a transport platform that takes your item from place A to place B on a chosen day.
When you checkout your item, you will see if the option is available for your item and you can also purchase it directly via Whoppah.

Delivery steps

1. After checkout, you can directly select 5 preferred dates as a buyer
   
   2. The seller will now receive a message with your preferred dates and can choose a date or suggest alternatives
   
   3. On a chosen date by the seller, the details are automatically transferred to Brenger
   
   4. Brenger keeps you informed of next steps including a time window on the day itself.
   
   

Does Brenger come with 1 or 2 couriers?
This depends on the item purchased (including dimensions) and is automatic, in most cases it will be 1 courier.

Is my item insured during transport with Brenger?
Damage in transit is covered up to € 1,500. Did damage occur during transport? Please contact Brenger.

Reporting changes
Would you like to inform Brenger of something important during collection or delivery of the item. After scheduling the day, you can contact Brenger directly.
Don't forget to inform the buyer or seller via the chat so you both know what the next step is.

For business sellers, it is possible to fill in the 'Custom Shipping Price' field when creating your ad. Here, you can set a price for the item you are selling. Please be aware that if you enter a custom amount, you are expected to deliver the item for that amount, regardless of the delivery location.

Unfortunately, at the moment, private sellers do not have the option to enter their own shipping amount.

If you have received an email from our courier partner, you can contact this party yourself to arrange another day if you are unable to attend. Of course, the steps are also mentioned in the emails you receive.

As the routes of our partners are arranged as carefully as possible, we recommend changing this only in exceptional cases.

When you put the specific item in your basket, you will be asked to log in after, only then will we see both locations and be able to make a proposal (price) for collection and delivery by our experienced courier partners. When you see this option you also know for sure that it is possible to have your item picked up and delivered.

At Whoppah, we strive to get your purchase to your home as easily and smoothly as possible. Our courier partners offer door-to-door delivery to ensure that your purchased item arrives safely and directly to you. However, the extent to which the courier can assist with lifting your purchase inside may vary.

While our courier partners are willing to help whenever possible, it is important to note that it is not guaranteed that they will be able to lift the item inside or to a specific spot in your home. This service depends on the courier and the specific situation at the time of delivery. Therefore, we recommend that you make clear arrangements for delivery in advance and, if necessary, arrange for help to move larger or heavier items.

Our experienced courier partners come alone, this is also mentioned in the communication. If this is absolutely not possible, you can indicate this in the communication you receive, both towards Whoppah, but also towards the partner who will pick up or deliver the item.

An indication of delivery times is given on the page with the item itself. It varies per item whether more options are available, which is why it is mentioned on this specific page. So you know immediately where you stand.

When the buyer has chosen to transport with our experienced courier partners , both the seller and the buyer will receive communication about the next steps.

Whoppah will inform which courier partner has been selected and what to expect. The courier partner will then send a proposal for collection and introduce itself. Scheduling is done based on efficiency and most sustainable route, which is why the partner likes to propose a day and time first.

You don't have to stay at home all day. You will be notified the day before at 13:00 with a timeframe of 2-4 hours.

We work hard to make this more and more predictable. However, furniture logistics can sometimes delay or speed up depending on location, weight and type of item. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding.

Contact Whoppah

The courier cannot be booked for certain items due to the size and scope of the items. The seller may also not have selected this option when creating their listing. Here are some reasons why this is not possible:

Of course, you are free to arrange the delivery yourself. You can arrange this via chat with the seller and use a courier yourself.

Whoppah works with various logistics parties who carefully transport the items from A to B. Is there any damage and the item was not delivered by Brenger or by post? Make sure you report the damage within 48 hours via our damage form. If you report the damage after 48 hours, we will not be able to process the claim. Indicate in Whoppah Chat that there is something wrong with the item so that payment to the seller is paused.

Delivery with Brenger

If your item was delivered with Brenger please contact Brenger directly. They have a similar policy that claims will be processed within 48 hours. Indicate in Whoppah Chat that there is something wrong with the item so that the payout to the seller is paused.

Delivery by post

To generate shipping labels for parcel post, we work with Wuunder. Is the parcel lost or damaged in transit? Then they can start a claim for you with the relevant shipping party. Send an email to info@wearewuunder.com with the following details:

• Track and trace of the parcel
• Purchase/sales invoice with value (downloadable in your Whoppah account)
• A description of the packaging (colour, logo, tape, straps, labels, etc.)
• A description of the contents
• A signed handover form (only if the shipment has never been scanned by carrier)
• Photos of damage at least 3 photos (outside of the package with label readable/visible, the inside of the package including how the item was packed, damage to the item)
• Mention in the email that you sent a parcel via Whoppah

Make sure you submit the details to Wuunder within 7 days so that they can submit the claim within the deadline set by the shipping parties. Indicate in the Whoppah Chat that there is something wrong with the item so that the payout to the seller is paused.

You do not have to pack the item if the courier option is chosen for transporting your item, but it is very advisable and pleasant for our courier partners if you protect vulnerable parts and corners in advance. By doing so, we prevent damage and work together towards a more sustainable world where your item will be used again by a lover for years to come.
