Gijs van der Sluis had a secondary technical education and is self-taught in architecture and design. Gijs van der Sluis was the man responsible for the family business “Van der Sluis Stalen Meubelen” from 1950 to 1990. He was the house designer and provided the successful timeless chairs and of course the famous sofa bed.
The chairs are from the 1960s. The chairs are in good condition, only some patina on the armrests. Which of course gives these chairs an authentic look. The fabric of the chairs is in almost new condition. Seat height: 44cm
