Gijs van der Sluis - Set of 2 Armchairs *the asking price is for the entire set* Model 36 ZA The 36 ZA armchair was designed by Dutch Gijs van der Sluis. This classic Dutch chair was designed and manufactured in 1954. So truly Dutch Mid - Century Modern. Using modern materials such as metal, with comfortable seat and back. The skai leather upholstery was replaced in 2008 with a sturdy robust fabric (wool-blend) that allows the design to do its timeless work. Dimensions: Height 72.5 cm, Width 56 cm, Depth 72 cm, Seat height 36 cm.
The metal frame has signs of use and some rust on the back of 1 chair. The seats have some faint stains, these are hardly noticeable because of the blended fabric. For chairs of almost 70 years old, they are still in very good condition.
