Product description
This particular stool by Zanotta has always been in our workplace but unfortunately it does not fit well in our new home. New, the stool costs €853. The Mezzadro Stool is a 1957 design by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. The two brothers designed the curious stool specifically for an exhibition in Como, Italy, called "Shapes and Colors in Contemporary Houses. The stool is a playful fusion of diverse worlds: the agricultural world can be seen in the striking tractor seat, the maritime world is incorporated with the beech wood base, and even the bicycle world -great in Italy- is represented in the design with the fastening pin applied.
One dull scratch on the seat, see photo. Otherwise completely undamaged
