Product description
Insane lamp base with sphere by Dümler & Breiden (1970s).
You don't come across this enormous silver-glazed ceramic lamp base. Smaller variants occasionally in "regular" colors.
The foot is completely intact, heavy and in mint condition. See the photos for an impression.
There is a satin white sphere on it (is stable on the foot with a clamping spring, not fixed / screwed).
Minimal signs of wear appropriate to the age on the sphere. A normal shade can also be placed on the lamp (see the photos without the clamping spring).
From a large collection of Bitossi, West Germany, Bodo Mans, beautiful glassware.
Foot dimensions
47.5 x 14 cm
Dimensions including bulb
Approx. 70 cm
Looks beautiful in a mid century modern interior and is probably also a coveted object for lovers of Cari Zalloni, Carlo Nason, Ingo Maurer, Mazzega, Murano, West Germany, Hollywood Regency, Brutalist and minimalist styles and other beautiful things.
Note: Whoppah courier is preferred due to the size and vulnerability of the lamp. Pick up or carefully packaged shipping is possible in consultation. I do this carefully and of course with sufficient packaging. Buyer's costs and risk.
Please message if you are seriously interested. No minimum quotes please
