Product description
A fantastic wardrobe designed by Willy Van Der Meeren, manufactured by Tubax in Belgium in 1952.
This eye-catching, rare piece is made of beautiful quality wood on a black metal structure. The large metal sliding doors are executed in two different colours, one blue and one grey, giving the piece a unique appeal and beautiful modern touch! Together with the organic shaped wooden handles, the piece combines practicality with style and craftsmanship. The doors reveal a nice spacious interior with coat hangers in the top and drawers underneath. This provides plenty of storage capacity and all together makes this wardrobe a fantastic addition to the interior! A highly recognizable cabinet by one of Belgium's most iconic mid-century designers. This specific piece is a rare deeper version of this cabinet (66 cm).
It remains in good, vintage condition with wear and marks consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The piece is fully original! The key is not available.
