Product description
Dimensions: 180 x 74 x 74 x43 cm (Width x Depth x Height x Seat Height)
This beautiful and extremely rare sofa was designed by Hartmut Lohmeyer as part of his 400 series for Wilkhahn in the 1950s in Germany. The elegant shape and the fragile proportions as well as the woven rattan backrest make this easy sofa one of the most outstanding designs of the mid century era in Germany. The couch has been reupholstered with high-quality Bouclé fabric by Danish premium manufacturer Kvadrat (Kvadrat Sahco). .
The African teak wood frame shows some minor traces of wear and tear, nothing that distracts. The wicker work comes in nice condition with only small repairs. The cushions and upholstery are brand new. The armchair’s overall appearance presents beautifully.
