This knitting basket has all the characteristics of a Rohe Noordwolde.
It is an heirloom from my mother-in-law who passed away in 2007. Other than the design of this knitting basket, I have no papers or otherwise indicating whether this is an orial.
But nevertheless, there are some key points by which you can recognize a genuine Rohé Noordwolde:
* the design of the rattan is fluid and has round lines;
* the base is also made of rattan or black tube frame (after 1952);
* the black tubular frame has white caps. Um in this case my wife liked black better ;-)
