Gilbert ARTAUD (1934-2007) was a French painter born in Lyon. He was a textile designer for many years, working for Parisian Haute Couture. Enthralled by the great Impressionists, he was influenced by them. Gilbert ARTAUD was fascinated by the views of the Dombe. He drew inspiration from them for his paintings, watercolors and lithographs. He painted bouquets and landscapes with passion.
