All of life is about balance. Good and bad. Light and darkness. Ying and Yang. Male and female. It's a thought-provoking painting and a great conversation piece that will look great in any room because the size and content have an amazing impact. This is a painting with painted sides of 4 cm. You can hang it without a frame.
My name is Jim Ewing. I am a Scottish painter and now live in Arnhem.
Before I retired, I owned two art galleries in Britain, one in Glasgow and one in Manchester.
After retirement, I spent 10 years cruising the Greek islands on my small yacht, painting and selling my work along the way.
In 2014, I moved to the Netherlands, set up my studio and began painting full-time. Since then, I have sold my work in the UK, Ireland, Europe, Scandinavia, the US, Canada and even Taiwan.
I sell my work through local exhibitions, through various galleries and online. I also welcome visitors to my studio.
