Product description
Watercolor on paper. Hand signed. 1971 This piece showcases the artist’s distinctive use of watercolor, capturing a serene landscape with a soft, dreamlike quality. His signature technique, visible in the texture and depth of the layered washes, allows for a dynamic yet harmonious blend of colors. The artist employs a color palette dominated by tranquil blues and lush greens, accentuating the natural scene’s calmness and vitality. Through his unique approach, he manages to convey both the detail of the landscape and an ethereal, almost abstract atmosphere, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in its quiet beauty. Eugène Eechaut 1928-2019 Since the 1960s, he has exhibited alongside Magritte at the Pfeiffer Gallery in Brussels. And several photos show them together. Eechaut, a wealthy man for whom the sale of his works was impossible, even within his own family. He jealously guarded his production, hence the lack of information and the lack of sales results for his work.
