The Walter Knoll Fabricius Armchair and Sofa Model 710-10 are a design by Preben Fabricius. This originally Danish designer designed the Fabricius Model 710-10 set back in 1972. Since then, this model has become a true design icon, which is undoubtedly due to the combination of timeless design and sublime seating comfort. The thick cushions guarantee hours of seating pleasure. That is perhaps surprising, because the seating comfort you would expect more with a large and massive set and less with a set with such a slender appearance.
The slim posture is due to the metal frame, which gives the armchair a very airy appearance. However, that does not mean that the armchair "disappears" in your interior, because thanks to its refined finish and luxurious appearance, the Walter Knoll Fabricius Model 710-10 set is an absolute eye-catcher.
A major influence on Preben Fabricius' work is the Scandinavian design tradition, in which simple lines and excellent choice of materials are of great importance. The set, which is named after its creator, therefore also has a Scandinavian look, but combines this with a modesty and sophistication we are used to from Walter Knoll.
