Fantastic Lobby Chair ES 104 by Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra. This is the model version in black leather (nero). The side profiles and the base are made of die-cast aluminum, chrome-plated. The Lobby Chair is height-adjustable, swivels and has a tilting mechanism. It is in very good condition with signs of wear typical of its age, which you can see in the extensive product images. The seat and backrest in particular are in very good condition. The frame shows slight chrome damage. The chair has been thoroughly cleaned and has a manufacturer's certificate from Vitra as well as hard floor castors. The gas pressure spring is intact. The Lobby Chairs were designed in 1960 by Charles & Ray Eames for the Time & Life Building in New York. The chair is ideal as an office chair for prestigious offices or the stylish home office.
