The rotating lounge chair Grand Repos offers unprecedented comfort with their rich padding, inviting armrests and synchronized mechanism hidden under the upholstery. This seat offers the user the ability to recline from an upright position to rest, with the backrest locking into any position. The resistance of the backrest can be manually adjusted according to the user's weight. The fabric is high quality Pebble dk gray with cross stitch. The Italian industrial elegance of Antonio Citterio
Antonio Citterio (b. 1950) first opened his own studio in 1972 and later received his degree in architecture from the 'Politechnico di Milano' in 1975. In the mid-1980s and 1990s, he and Terry Dawn designed several buildings in Europe and Japan. From 2000, Citterio and Patricia Viel formed a multidisciplinary office for architecture, interior design and graphic design. The firm operates internationally and develops complex long-term projects in collaboration with a qualified network of specialized consultants.
Citterio works in the industrial design sector with Arclinea, Axor-Hansgrohe, B&B Italia, Flexform, Flos, Hermès, iittala, Kartell and Vitra, among others. He has received several awards, including the Compasso d'Oro twice. Citterio was a professor at the Faculty of Architecture. In 2008, he received the title "Royal Designer for Industry" from the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce in London
