Vitra Grand Repos armchair. Designed by Antonio Citterio (2011). The Repos lounge chair is rotatable and infinitely tiltable with the hidden mechanism inside. The angles of the seat and back change synchronously with each other, and the mechanism integrated in the chair is infinitely lockable. Wide armrests and a backrest shaped to the body in the lumbar region offer a pleasant sitting experience. The legs are in polished aluminum. With generous dimensions and infinitely adjustable seating positions, this armchair fulfills (also ergonomically) virtually any desire for comfort and relaxation. Italian designer and architect Antonio Citterio knows how to combine timeless elegance with exceptional comfort like no other. His collaboration with Vitra, which has lasted more than 25 years, has produced a wide range of work - including several groundbreaking designs. The Repos and Grand Repos swivel lounge seats offer unprecedented comfort with their rich padding, inviting armrests and synchronized mechanism hidden under the upholstery. These seats allow the user to recline from an upright position to rest, with the backrest lockable in any position. The resistance of the backrest can be manually adjusted according to the user's weight.
