Product description
A rare pendant lamp by renowned Japanese designer Kazuo Motozawa, produced in the 1970s by the German premium lighting company Staff Leuchten. This striking lamp features a bright yellow metal cone shade that brings a vibrant pop of color to any interior space. The interior of the shade is coated in white. The cone-shaped shade, finished in egg-yolk yellow, produces a wide beam of light. A small fraction of the light is refracted by chrome reflectors, subtly illuminating the ceiling above. This design masterpiece embodies the iconic mid-century style with its clean, conical form, rounded edges, and chrome ventilation slits.
The lamp is in good vintage condition with some signs of wear: the metal cone shows scratches, and the paint has worn off on the top portion. Additionally, the small screw securing the canopy to the ceiling is slightly damaged, making it tricky to tighten, though it can easily be replaced. Some metal parts also display rusting and patina, consistent with its age.
