Product description
Scandinavian mid-century 1950s vintage two-tier side table / bar cart/ console / tea table.
The structure is in wood, with a walnut-colored finish, and the two tops, are in walnut veneer. The piece has a long, practical curved drawer, with its original pull handle measuring W: 31.5 cm x D: 49.5 cm (see photos.)
The 2 curved top handles on either side merge into the beautifully sculpted legs, making it easy to move the table from one place to another (see photos.)
The top plate has 3 raised edges, 1 at the back and 2 on each side, so a plate can easily be slid into place if desired (see photos.)
The piece is in good original and vintage condition, with light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, and some areas of slightly faded color, on the general structure, trays, handles, drawer and feet (see various photos.) There is an old repair, at one corner of the bottom tray (see photo with a 1-cent coin.) The piece has only been delicately cleaned, oiled and waxed, respecting the original patina of time. It is solid, stable and has 4 glides (see photo.)
Please note: all photos are taken in natural, outdoor light, so colors may vary depending on light, angles and the perspective from which they are viewed.
