Marked: factory label Condition: Good condition with signs of use and signs of age. Happylight was founded in 1980 by Peter van Es in Gemert (North Brabant). In the first years the company sold and made lamps for lighting stores, furniture stores and the lighting departments of Dutch warehouse retailers like De Bijenkorf and Vroom &Dreesmann. It is from this early period that the wall lamp offered here dates. It is one of the few Happylight lamps we have seen with the Dutch designation on it. We assume that in the early period Happylight had its own (limited) production facilities. Happylight finally closed its doors in 2000.
