Product description
Vita vase Bronze 57Øx120h.
The art of applying silver leaf to decorative objects, along with lacquer work, is known as gilding. Gilding is a delicate, demanding process. First, the surface is polished and treated with a neutral paint, lacquer and sealing adhesive. On this adhesive layer, individual sheets of silver leaf are placed on the surface using a soft camel hair brush. The silver leaf is held between the fingertips and attached to the object by static electricity generated by gently rubbing the camel hair brush with the fingertips. This requires extreme concentration. Even a minimal sigh or air movement can cause the silver leaf not to end up in the right place. The silver leaf is then covered with a transparent lacquer. This transparent lacquer can also be provided with a color. This allows the bronze vita objects to be executed in various colors. Finally, it is polished to a high gloss using high quality cotton. By using a plastic cover, this vase is 100% waterproof and can be used for hydroponic plants.
