Product description
Solid Oak Coffee Table, the result of the combined work of Robert Guillerme (1913 - 1990) and Jacques Chambron (1914 - 2010). The first is a Designer and interior furniture designer, graduated top of his class from the Boulle School in Paris. The second, a graduate of the School of Arts in Reims, is, at the beginning of his career, Painter Decorator. From the meeting of these two men was born in 1949 the company "Votre Maison". Then associated with the cabinetmaker Emile Dariosecq who manufactures, Guillerme creates, and Chambron trades. Since its resumption by Bernard Defraye, the company from Lille proposes today, in addition to its initial activity, a service of Restoration of Ancient Furniture. This Table is composed of an Oval tray furnished with twelve Granite tiles, in Ceramic, with Grey motives all different from each other. With its 4.5 cm thickness, this top inspires solidity and rests on four straight legs with a square section, finished with a turning. The legs are connected in pairs by cross braces, which reassure us of the stability of the whole. This small living room table has some of the characteristics of Guillerme's creations, namely the use of oak and the predominance of light colors. Originally, "Votre Maison" wanted to be a manufacturer of "Quality Furniture in which we can live everyday". A successful bet. Period : 1960Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop. Waxed finish on hard bottom.Ref : 760 R Bis
