Sity sofa designed by Antonio Citterio in 1986 for the emblematic B and B Italia label. Here is a creation that harmonizes comfort and beauty, awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro' 87, which demonstrates the high consideration that the Italian industry had in this brilliant design, later transferred to the general public with enormous sales success. Conceived as part of a modular seating system with a substantial characteristic: all elements, in addition to being flexible with respect to different spaces and functions, had to preserve their own formal and functional autonomy; such as the case you are contemplating, composed of a structure with semi-rigid parts and large upholstered elements.
It retains the original upholstery, which shows wear and signs of use, in black and the back cushions in light brown (from the fourth photo) THE OTHER COLOR COMBINATIONS YOU APPRECIATE: RED, ORANGE, GREEN, BLUE AND YELLOW, THEY ARE A SIMULATION TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT IT WOULD LOOK LIKE IF YOU REUPLOY IT. Mention that the seat foam has also lost a certain rigidity.
