The sideboard is an original from the 1960s and has a very high-quality finish. The horizontally offset, lighter-colored profile strips are particularly noteworthy.
The surfaces are finished with Makoré (African pear wood) and birch veneer.
Behind two hinged doors is a storage space divided by a wooden shelf.
A key is included.

The furniture was produced in the furniture factory Carl Helbig, Neuhausen/Erzgebirge.
Founded in the 19th century, the Carl Helbig furniture factory was an important manufacturer of high-quality furniture in East Germany. The company was characterized by precise craftsmanship and innovative designs. Its solid wooden cabinets and stylish sideboards, which combined both functionality and aesthetics, were particularly well-known. Today, Carl Helbig furniture is a coveted collector's item and stands for the quality and tradition of furniture making in the Erzgebirge.
