The sideboard is an original from the 1950s and has a very high-quality finish. It was produced in June 1954 in an art furniture factory in the town of Schleiz (Germany).
The surfaces are finished with Makoré veneer (African pear tree) and burl wood. Shading in the veneer is applied by hand (furniture painting).
Two keys are included.
There is storage space behind the double swing door on the right-hand side, which is divided by a wooden shelf.
There is another door with two drawers on the left-hand side.

The piece of furniture is stable, functional and shows no signs of damage. Signs of use are present. Slight defects can be seen on the lid and on the central door front, see photo.
➡️ Reconditioning:
The piece of furniture has been thoroughly cleaned and the functional elements checked. We clean and care for the wooden surfaces intensively with specially purified linseed oil in combination with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
