Product description
Beautiful, vintage serving tray made of fiberglass, with silver-plated brass handles and trim, from famous French maker, Manover Chaumontel, circa 1950's - 1960's. The design of the tray is elegant, sleek and modern all at once. Showcases a very cool, silver-colored, diamond-shaped pattern, that covers the entire surface, and truly pops, in contrast against the ivory/cream-like color, the smooth, flat trim, and handles with floral decor, both of which are made of silver-plated brass (see photos.) Piece is in overall, very good, original and vintage condition, with very light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the surface, trim, edges, handles and underneath (see multiple photos.) No pokes, cracks or chips (see photos.) The tray carries its maker's mark underneath, "Manover Chaumontel", underneath (see photo.) It has only been gently cleaned with respect to its original patina of time. All photos have been taken in natural light. Colors may vary based upon the angles; light and perspective in which they are viewed. Actual dimensions are: W: 54.5 cm x D: 43 cm x H: 5 cm.
Detailed Condition: Very Good — This vintage/antique item has no defects, but it may show slight traces of use as is noted in the description above. Light wear consistent with age and use, Patina consistent with age and use, Surface has been polished.
