Rare and exceptional lacquered and brass secretary from the House of Jansen dating from the 1970s. This lacquered series with a bronze mordant finish was produced to order only. The proportions, the design, the base, the brass frame, the interior, the drawer handles, all details are superb, and of a rare quality of finish. This secretary has been cleaned and restored, and is in a superb state of preservation. A truly rare piece, in the pure 1970s style, signature of the House of Jansen of that era.
