This classic coffee table was designed during the 1960s by Severin Hansen for the Danish manufacturer Haslev Møbelsnedskeri. The geometric table is made of precious rosewood in a warm shade of brown. Characteristic for Hansen, the angular connection of the legs with the top it expressiveness. The simple and minimalist design is aesthetic and will perfect match for many rooms, bringing a subtle but strong element of arrangement. The original signature is under the top.
Severin Hansen is a Danish designer known and admired around the world for his excellent designs, developed from his iconic constructions. One corner of the table is enough to know that it was designed by Severin Hansen. He first attracted wider attention with the geometric forms of his furniture in the 1950s. The elegant simplicity of the designs emphasizes Hansen's craftsmanship and his industrial mindset.
Haslev Møbelsnedkeri is a traditional Danish manufacturer that has been making furniture since the early 1950s. Each Haslev product is made from only the best parts of wood. Especially tables made of beech wood and moving parts are classics of Scandinavian design. In the 1970s, Haslev Møbelsnedskeri, together with Royal Copenhagen, produced a series of coffee tables with ceramic decoration. To this day, Haslev continues to produce high-quality hand-finished furniture in the old furniture tradition.
