For sale: a beautiful, unique and hand-knotted Persian Sarouk Mir rug, because unfortunately it does not fit in our new house in terms of size. - Color The rug is probably wool on cotton. The basic color of the rug is white. Not snow white, but a light cream white that is easy to combine with other furniture. There is also a red band with figures and some smaller bands around it with green, pink and blue in the pattern. See the detail photos for an impression! - Condition The rug is in good vintage condition, the wool is still very nice and supple. Nowhere are holes and the fringes are still intact. However, there are very light stains on one of the edges, see the pictures. They can probably be masked further, but I always laid the rug out like this so it wasn't noticeable anyway. Slight signs of use are there, but that fits with age. - Size 400x306cm (excluding fringes, see photos for tape measure along rug) - Good to know: In the photos I try to depict the color as realistically as possible, but it may happen that the colors in the photo do differ slightly from reality. You are welcome to come see the rug in person! - Please make a realistic offer and do not ask for a 'minimum price'.
