Spectacular Robin floor lamp, designed by Carlo Zerbaro for Roche Bobois. Carlo Zerbaro was born into a family of engineers, where he quickly developed his talent for industrial design. His creations for the French brand, particularly lamps, are characterized by their creativity and elegance.
The base and structure are in black lacquered steel, while the original design of the lampshade is in fact a hand-patinated panel with a finish that imitates bronze and allows the light to reflect. The intensity of the LED light is adjustable. An original, modern and elegant design, perfect for a living room or reading area.
About Roche Bobois
Roche Bobois is a French company which, since its creation in 1960, has been dedicated to marketing collections of high-end furniture, sofas and other accessories. The company was founded by Philippe and François Roche, owners of a store in Paris, and Jean-Claude and Patrick Chouchan, then owners of the Au Beau Bois store. After meeting in 1960 at the Copenhagen Fair, they began manufacturing and importing Scandinavian furniture to Paris. They began selling Scandinavian accessories in their stores, in the form of furniture boutiques and "gift shops". In these stores, called "Complements d'Objets", they sell textiles, tableware and upholstery. They even devoted a floor to renovation and decoration projects, giving birth to the famous Roche Bobois brand. Since the beginning of the 21st century, the brand has expanded internationally, setting up boutiques around the world, as well as partnerships and collaborations with designers, architects and creators, who have designed various furniture and objects for the brand.
