Product description
Generously designed and completely renovated 1960s sideboard made of warm teak and featuring beautiful details.
The low body of the cabinet has a top applied in one piece of veneer with no interruptions. The cabinet space offered by this wall unit is ample and ideal for items that you want at hand but not constantly in sight.
The two doors feature a "mirrored" veneer, so the grain repeats on each door, creating a pattern. Behind the doors is a wide closet space, and the closet space features the original organically shaped shelf, which, due to its recess, offers the possibility of using it as a bar cabinet.
A unique detail of this beautiful lowboard is the original lights that originally belong under the cabinet. When the lights are on it gives a beautiful effect on the floor. The light is easily turned on and off by an original switch.
The whole stands on four leathery tapered legs made of solid matte black wood. Because of the legs, the whole is empty despite its generous size.
With us you buy an old furniture in almost new condition: we distinguish ourselves by professional restoration so that the furniture can last at least another 60 years.
The cabinet has undergone a complete renovation whereby all old layers of wax/oil/varnish have been removed. After sanding and possible repairs, the cabinet has been fed with several layers of high-quality oil. The cabinet is despite the age of 60 years in a very neat (new) condition and can immediately be used as a unique vintage item in a modern, retro or rural interior.
