Ole Wanscher PJ-149 colonial chair, 1949 The colonial chair is one of Wanscher’s best loved and most iconic designs, drawing influence from British and French Colonial furniture of the 18th-19th centuries. Produced by Poul Jeppesen, this example comes in highly figured Brazilian rosewood with woven rattan cane seat. This first edition had the rattan weaved directly onto the rosewood frame.
