Product description
O/L "Still life" Francisco Molinero Ayala, f. XX century - Contemporary Painting Oil on canvas signed by the consecrated artist Francisco Molinero Ayala. It represents a still life in very bright colors. With a style that tends to the geometrization of the forms, we can distinguish numerous vegetal elements combined with cubist elements, almost abstract, on a white sheet and with a uniform background in blue tone. More about the author... Francisco Molinero Ayala was born in 1945 in Jaén. He studied at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid and once finished, in 1972 he prepared his first exhibition at the Ateneo de Madrid. At that time he had a social concern that he still maintains today. He started from a mixture of a certain expressionism with a hardness of stroke and something that has always accompanied him, lyricism. At that time he worked within figuration. After this initial stage he began his career as a teacher. He obtained the Chair of Drawing at the Gerardo Diego Institute. D. in Fine Arts, he becomes a full professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid. He spends long periods in Alicante, maintaining close ties with the artistic circles of the region, where he exhibits and is selected on multiple occasions in various competitions and exhibitions. He obtains numerous awards, including the First Prize for Drawing of the Directorate General of Fine Arts of Madrid (1972), Silver Medal of the Grand Prix of the Fine Arts Circle of Madrid (1975) and Painting Biennial Award "Emilio Várela" of Alicante (1983). He exhibits individually and collectively in different Spanish cities: Madrid, Murcia, Valladolid, Alicante, Castellón, Jaén, etc., and his works are included in the pictorial collections of numerous entities such as Museums, Universities, City Councils, Provincial Councils... For the creation of his work he moves from feelings, passion and intelligence. He emphasizes in his painting the use of color, rhythm and the significance that something may have over the more figurative representation. He likes the arrangement in his work in a constructivist way, based on geometric structures conscientiously studied. Beginning his work in a more figurative sense, he has evolved towards more abstract solutions. In his career he also evolves towards a greater use of color, in search of a greater spontaneity in his works. He has become passionate about color and its ability to order and structure spaces and surfaces. It is common in his work to find the combination of a more abstract stain with areas more governed by geometric or graphic order. His references are Paco Baños, Zabaleta, the Cuenca group, Paco Echauz and Juan Barjola. He wants the viewer to let himself be carried away when contemplating his work, without focusing on looking for references in the abstract.
