Graphics by Marino Marini from the "Marini from Shakespeare" series,
published by ZWR London, in 1978.
Engraving V from VIII in the cycle.
Technique - aquatint, printed in Florence by Labyrinth on
Velin Rivers paper.
1977-78, two series of graphics from the "Marini from Shakespeare" series were published
- one cycle numbered with Roman numerals, the other with Arabic numerals, plus 20 proofs.
The works were published as portfolios - each of the works had a divider and the whole
it was closed in a cardboard box.
This graphic is from a series numbered with Arabic numerals - a total of 75 sets were created
8 graphics each - this graphic comes from the folder 25/75 issued, numbered in pencil on the left
side, signed by the Artist on the right and has a convex stamp on paper.
We have a total of 5 graphics from this series from portfolio 25/75 (pieces II, III, V, VI, VIII)
Shipping - in a tube.
Condition : good - very good, local patina, slight traces of time. (photo doc)
So far, the work has been exhibited behind glass.
