With its freeform "rollercoaster" look, this superb ORVAL clock is from the 1950s. Its front is in mint-green Formica with a glossy black outline. Its ring-shaped dial is in black plastic with cardinal-point numerals and gold-painted hour-markers. The dauphine hands are new, in gold-finish aluminum and red for the second hand. The bezel is openable, with domed glass and solid brass surround. The back has been treated with resin paint. The mechanism is new and silent quartz.
