Vintage convex Scheurich vase, made of partly glazed and partly matte orange and brown ceramic, West Germany pottery from the 60-70s, numbered 284-15 at the bottom. This convex model by Scheurich has a high collector's value, type 284-15 was made in different bright color patterns and different textures making them highly sought after. West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came on the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some famous names include Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but perhaps the biggest were Scheurich and Bay.
