Elegant newspaper stand from the 1950s made of brass-plated steel wire - this material was common for newspaper stands at the time for reasons of stability - with a black lacquered wooden handle and black plastic foot caps.
Manufacturer and designer unknown.
The width is 40 cm, the depth 20 cm, the height just under 56 cm.
The newspaper stand is slightly polished, meaning that traces of oxidation are still present, as can be seen in the photos.
The foot caps have been replaced.
