Vintage Danish Modern aluminium pendant lamp with brushed gold finish, and white lacquered internal shade color, creating a stunning layered light effect. Crafted in the 1970s by Bent Nordsted for Lyskaer Belysning. Bent Nordsted was a Danish designer known for his collaborations with several prominent lighting companies, including Lyskaer Belysning. His designs, particularly from the 1970s, became iconic for their sleek, functional, and minimalist aesthetics that fit within the broader Scandinavian modernist tradition. Nordsted designed a range of pendant lights for Lyskaer, with many pieces featuring geometric and reflective elements that created soft, diffused lighting. Lyskaer Belysning was a Danish lighting company that operated from 1969 to 1991. It was known for creating a wide range of lamps, catering to various styles and budgets. Based in Herlev and later Copenhagen, Lyskaer Belysning became a significant player in Scandinavian lighting design, producing high-quality and aesthetically pleasing pieces that fit both modern and classic interiors.
