Rare very beautiful covered vase or jar of glazed Persian pottery, Iznik, turquoise entirely hand-painted with traditional floral, plant and geometric motifs, black. Vintage 50s-60s. Unsigned. Relatively large, baluster shape, arondi pansu body, small round foot, high slightly flared neck, small lid with high knob. Nice workmanship, fine decoration, beautiful glaze. 35cm total height, approx. 17cm max. diameter. Very good condition, a few superficial and discreet natural cracks in the glaze, a few small discreet manufacturing defects, a small and very discreet restoration on the lid, see photos. Approx. 1,200kg.
