This display cabinet from the 1960s consists of two elements. The surfaces are finished with Sen (Asian deciduous tree) and ash veneer. The upper element was made as a display cabinet. It consists of two sliding glass doors and two glass shelves. The back panel is lacquered white. The lower section has a hinged compartment and stands on a metal frame. ➡️ A little history: This living room cabinet with the model name "430" saw the light of day on January 6, 1971. The design for this furniture series was created in the Hellerau workshops near Dresden. The manufacturer was Möbelwerke Wehrsdorf in Saxony. ➡️ Size: 110 cm x 49 cm x 154 cm (width x depth x height)
➡️ Condition:
The piece of furniture is basically stable, functional and shows no signs of damage. Signs of use are present. There is slight discoloration in one place on the back wall of the display case, see photo.
➡️ Reconditioning:
The piece of furniture has been thoroughly cleaned. We clean and care for the wooden surfaces intensively with specially purified linseed oil in combination with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
