This highboard is an original from the 1950s. The furniture consists of two components and has a high-quality finish. The surfaces have been finished with mahogany and birch veneer. Three keys are included. The upper element consists of a centrally positioned display cabinet. It is accessed via a hinged glass door with decorative gold trim. Two glass shelves divide the storage space. The back wall is covered with a washable fabric (cream color) with a linear pattern (brown color). Behind the left-hand double door there is storage space with the following features: a drawer, a shelf with a black glass top, a wooden shelf. Behind the right-hand double door there is storage space with two wooden shelves. Three drawers with brass handles have been installed in the lower element. ➡️ Size: 210 cm x 50 cm x 149 cm (width x depth x height) The lower element ends at a height of 49 cm.
➡️ Condition:
The piece of furniture is basically stable, functional and has no damage. Signs of use are present. One glass shelf has a small defect.
➡️ Reconditioning:
The furniture has been thoroughly cleaned. Light restoration work has been carried out. We clean and treat the wooden surfaces intensively with specially purified linseed oil in combination with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
