All of our carpets are cleaned in a professional carpet laundry. The first step in cleaning is to thoroughly beat the carpet to remove dust and any mites. The subsequent pre-wash with a PH-neutral soap removes stains. During the main wash, the carpets are washed thoroughly and wet by hand - a special soap protects the fibers and preserves the natural wool grease of the carpets. Initial dewatering is carried out by mechanical pressing and spinning, so that the carpets are then dried hanging in constant circulating air.
