This hallway wardrobe is an original from the 60s. It was made as a two-piece set and consists of a wardrobe and a back panel with mirror, hook rail and hat shelf. The wardrobe consists of two drawers and a double door. A key is included. The legs are made of metal. The back panel is made of wood and covered with a washable plastic in the color red, which is complemented by decorative knobs. The mirror is mounted on wood. The hook rail with seven hooks and the hat shelf are located above it. To ensure maximum stability, we recommend attaching this back panel securely to the wall. There is an eyelet on the back for this purpose. Minor restoration work was carried out, e.g. veneer repairs, gold edging applied, new legs on the cabinet. We clean and maintain the wooden surfaces with specially purified linseed oil in combination with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
