Very rare Art deco sideboard.
The cabinet comes from the German state of Branderburg, from 1920, during the Weimar Republic.
A beautifully detailed piece of furniture.
The cabinet is bursting with hidden secrets,
including a built-in enamel bread bin and a handy shopping list with hourglass.
The upper cabinet doors feature decorated glass and the woodwork contains beautiful original ornaments.
The top top is oiled cork with a solid wood edge.
Some minor damage here and there but not very disturbing.
The paint is also a little damaged here and there from heavy use, but suits the cabinet.
