A scarce floor lamp by Robert Mathieu.
France, c1950s.
Brass adjustable stem that sits on a heavy brass ball nestled in the amazing star base.
The star base is in original black finish.
A new custom diabolo (double) lamp shade has been created.
The height is adjustable, the lamp rotates, the shade rotates, so it is a very flexible lamp.
Good vintage condition, some scuffs and wear commensurate with age.
Raises to 225 H.
