Product description
Designer Franco Albini designed this stunning desk with white lacquered, steel frame and floating wooden drawers in 1949 for Knoll International. The glass top is heavy duty. The dimensions are 70 x 122 x 67 cm. My father bought this desk in the 1960s. He later bought the chair with leather seat and back. Although the square tubular frame of the chair is identical - also painted white - to the desk, this 'Nomada' was designed by Pierre Mazaraic & Karel Boonzaaier in the 1970s. The chair matches the desk wonderfully and therefore I am only selling it as a set
The black paint on the wooden drawer block has held up extremely well. Only a few light damages on the top of the drawers.
There are signs of use (scratches) on the glass panels, but nothing unusual for a desk about 60 years old.
The desk chair still looks almost like new.
