A French cast and milled brass "Peacock" folding fire screen, where the nine wedge-shaped, fretted brass panels fold into the central section.
Note the jewel-like quality of the cast and gilt brass and intricate fretwork. This beautiful designer item comes from circa 1900 and is in perfect condition!
Condition Report: In good and original condition, with very light wear consistent with age and use.
