Product description
The Louis Poulsen Panthella Table Lamp is one of the greatest design icons of the famous designer and architect Verner Panton. Also known as the 'Mushroom lamp' thanks to its figurative and playful design, the lamp reflects the immense personality of the Danish designer. That's not the only thing the lamp reflects, by the way: the idea behind the Panthella is that both the lamp base and the lampshade reflect light. With its glare-free light, the Panthella lamp is a wonderful example of Verner Panton's brilliant sense of atmospheric lighting. The design may date from 1971, but thanks to Panton's unerring sense of design, the Panthella lamp, with its minimalist and recognizable organic forms, fits perfectly into contemporary interiors. This design classic consists of a trumpet-shaped base and a half-round shade that together reflect light atmospherically. The shade is made of white opal acrylic through which a beautiful soft diffused light shines. The trumpet-shaped base is made of white ABS. Only the smallest on photo is still available: 70cm high, diameter shade 50cm. This lamp is really in perfect condition! Rare, because is not made anymore in this size. Can be used as a larger table lamp. Price: 675
