Product description
This modernistic space age floor lamp Cobra was produced in the 1970s by the Swedish manufacturer Fagerhult. The lamp is made of gray plastic with black details. It has a flexible arm that allows the light beam to be directed anywhere. The Cobra lamp won the iF Design Award in 1975. Founded by Bertil Svensson in 1945, Fagerhult was originally a small company in a small community in the province of Västergötland. Svensson wanted to improve the lives of ordinary people. At the time, much handicrafts - such as knitting, sewing and woodworking - were done at home, and good lighting was crucial to success. With the development of society and technology, Fagerhult started to produce lighting for public areas. Today, the company has grown into a group with 4,200 employees in 28 countries. The company works closely with scientists from leading universities and is constantly pushing the boundaries of what lighting can achieve. Although much has changed over the years, one thing remains the same for Fagerhult employees: the belief that better light leads to a better life. This lamp is in original vintage condition. It has minor scratches due to age. The light switch is located on the hood. The lamp has an E27 fitting.
Lamp is in used condition with some signs of wear (see the photos)
