Vintage scandinavian round/oval dining table that turn from round by extending to oval. The brutalist yet lightweight Danish round table does of course have signs of use, still has some dents and scratches but these are minimal. The table has a high gloss finish and is therefore well protected.
The pine table is not marked.
The large chubby round table is round 121cm and the extra leaf is 50cm. The oval will then become 171cm x 121cm. The legs slide out with the table and are attached to the leaf by screws. The legs are fairly easy to disassemble. The leaf should be stored next to the table.
The table would also be very nice if painted in a funky color. The table fits as it is now in many interior styles; Industrial, Bohemian, Botanical, Country, Modern, Eclectic, scandinavian but also wabi sabi, japandi or brutalist. Chairs by Rainer Daumiller would go well with it. Possibly I have a set of matching chairs (6 pieces).
- The table could be a bit higher by putting some thicker felts under it.
- The extension system works ok but always works better with two people.
- Both sides have to be extended.
