Very special and iconic three-piece vintage ash wall system designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe in 1958. This wall system is part of Pastoe's 'Japanese series' and is a true Dutch design classic. The system consists of 16 ash bookshelves, a desktop, 23 polished metal brackets and three off-white back panels. The polished metal brackets are suspended from brass pins that are inserted into the appropriate holes in the wall panels. The wall system can be arranged as desired, and its minimalist design with clean lines and narrow polished metal brackets makes it a real eye-catcher. It is in very good condition.
