Vintage English polished stainless steel modernist kettle A beautiful teapot that is sure to feel at home in the kitchen. This kettle has a sleek, tapered cylindrical body with a modernist lid and handle. It can also be used to serve milk or any other type of liquid, including infused oil or syrup. The kettle is made of mirror-polished stainless steel and has a capacity of 800 ml. It is a double-walled pot, meaning there is always a thin air pocket between the metal plates that is tightly sealed to keep the contents warm, similar to a thermos. The base is made of chrome-plated copper, known for its powerful heat conduction. Provenance: made in England in the 1970s/80s. Maker unknown. Condition: in good vintage shape. Chrome-plated stainless steel case shows some light scuffs and surface scratches from previous use. No cracks or leaks. A few small oxidation spots on the inside. Some patina and remnants of heat oxidation visible on bottom of pot. Has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
